What: Local legislators agree that property taxes are the top issue facing the General Assembly this session. Exactly how to reform the current system, however, is more contentious.
Why: Madison County’s four representatives at the Indiana Statehouse gathered at Hoosier Park for the first of three Third House legislative meetings. Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce for Anderson & Madison County and the League of Women Voters, the meetings are designed to facilitate dialogue between local lawmakers and their constituents
